how does the NFL choose new player for there teams?

    The NFL draft.

    They start scouting them when they are in high school and follow them through college. Then when they decide to go pro they go to the columbine were they are tested on speed, agility, strength, ect. Players are then drafted according to whatever needs the team has. There is also the free agency market and other leauges were teams can come from (for example arena football).

    But virtually every player that is in the NFL is drafted from college. There are a few exceptions of course.

    It is called the NFL draft, trades or free agency. Every great while someone will make a team from an open tryout, but these people are very rare indeed.

    By team needs at a position. They obtain them through free agency, trades, and the draft. Who they chose is determined by team scouts that asses players that are on other teams or still in college and by salary cap space and numbers. The question is kindof vague so i hope this helps.
