I think it would be best for you to google on articles about anime, particularly on stories or articles that puts anime in a bad light then you cite the author of such article. Or cite news reports criticizing anime and name the critic or reporter. There will always be footnotes of sources, or links, enough to help you name some personalities in your novella. Aside from these few persons, anime critics are usually not in singulars but in groups. Most conservatives disdain anime because in their general view, anime is senseless, full of violence, sex etc. A generalization which is recurrent in this generation that gives anime its stigma although it is a narrow-minded view.
