i wanted to be a farmer all my life when our cows got bse i finished farming and became a welding engineer and now 8 years down the line i own a on line meds company !!!! and travel the world !!!!! are you still doing what you went to college for !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, wanted to be a farmer too. Now I'm an ICU nurse. Crazy ride but mostly fun.

No I am not what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to be a mother. Well I got that, but I also wanted to be a RN or a Lawyer. Instead I got stuck with health issues (bad back) that lead me to being disabled.
As I told my mom the other day I am sure glad I never went to collage and spent all that money. She asked me why and I told her because now with me being disabled it would have all been a waste of time and money.

Well, I'm only 16, but when I was younger I wanted to be a fish or astronaut. I think I have a 0% chance of being a fish and .0000001% of being an astronaut. lol.
I start cosmetology classes this summer and I plan to go to college and major in business.

I wanted to be an astronaunt ever since I was able to read books, but after a car accident when I was 9, I decided to major in architecture when I took arch/engineering courses in high school.

but im going to college for 8 years
and becoming a dentist.

I'm in the process of achieving my goals.
My plans have altered slightly. All through school I wanted to be a high school teacher, but now I'm going to school in hopes of becoming a university professor. =)

Well, I'm not that grown yet, but I wanted to be an artist, a chef, a singer, a dancer, and a writer, and I'm achieving all of those skills.

Yes, I always wanted to make sure I could spell fairly well and not sound illiterate, so that if I ever owned my own company or worked for someone, I would sound somewhat deserving of that position.

I'm a junior in high school....
but, I used to want to be a vet, heart surgeon, brain surgeon, detective, artist, and musician as a child! (at different times...)
Now I'm totally bent on becoming a physical therapist!
