Easton Synergy 1300 Ice Hockey Skates ?

Would really like your opinion i have a chance to pick up a pair for a good price (only reason I'm considering). I'm on the good side of an intermediate player coming out of a pair of 652 supertacks...heavy!! but comfy. Time for a change

Thanks means alot...

Those are very good skates. If they fit, go for it. You'll like how light they are for sure...

And I'm in a pair of Synergy 800s...

Nice, light skates but the composite shell makes heat molding or stretching impossible. If they fit your feet, fantastic. If not, don't count on the discomfort lessening over time.

The only thing that concerns me from what you've disclosed is that you're looking to come out of 652's. Were you always a CCM guy? Do you have feet on the wide side, as do the majority of CCM users?

If so, the Easton's may not be the way to go. The fit of those skates is much more similar to the Bauer last than the CCM.
