well the other day united blood services called me saying that my platelet level was double then i need and ask me if i wanted to donate and etc. and well is that good or bad have double the amount of platelets??

Platelets are sphere shaped components in your blood that hardens and builds up in the blood vessel when you have a cut or wound, they stop you from bleeding. Having more platelets is good for you. Some people with hemophilia don't have platelets so they die from a small cut due to excessive bleeding. So you should donate some.
