A Rod Attacked at Fenway?

was the bird that attacked Alexa Rodriguez (A Rod to friends) during a tour of Fenway, trained by Red Sox Nation to attack A Rod & it went bad or was it a freak of nature?

According to reliable sources in Mexican newspaper "the daily Taco" members of the Red Sox hired a Mexican trainer to teach the Hawk to attack to the sound of the word A- Rod. Apparently the Hawk heard the little girls' friend calling her A Rod, and did what he was trained to do. According to these sources the trainer was paid with a goat and a couple of roosters and was asked to leave the country immediately. For some weird reason he never made it back home....... he was attacked and killed by the goat.... (Some say the goat was also trained)

When I first heard the story, I was like, yeah right, this is just ridiculous. But since I saw the photos and heard the girl's name, I'm thinking what the heck is going on?

This is a very freak occurance, so I'm not going to say anything. But if people like Maria Rivera, Darrell Jeter, or Jose Posada get attack by the same hawk, I wouldn't want to be a Yankees player.

What are the odds of that? Sounds like something I'd read in the Heckler. Glad she's okay and hope she's enjoying her 15 minutes of fame.

But you might be on to this trained bird theory...maybe one perched in Wrigley for a Mr. Albert Pujols? (Alberta Pujols, you've been warned!)

The fans in Boston are vicious. Everyone knows they've been training birds of prey to attack anything wearing what may look like a Yankees jersey.

Did you hear about that guy who was mauled by rabid squirrels for wearing Yankee Boxers? Thats a lesson to all Yankees fans while in Boston, don't sagg...

Remember when all the red sox fans were 'drooling' when they thought a-rod was coming to the red sox? Now they think he 'sucks'?

Freak thing, we all know red sox fans are classless.

It's like something out of the Onion.....

If I am a schoolgirl in the Bronx, and my name is Manuela Ramirez, or Kim Wakefield, no chance am I going to Yankee Stadium now......

I heard about that last night and I thought that was really funny. I think it was an attack on the name A-Rod and he is definitly deserving.

Freak of nature. It's one of those super natural happenings that just doesn't seem possible. You can't think up something like that.
