I am only 1 week preggo and on bed rest?
I just found on on thursday i am pregnant and friday i woke up bleeding and had back pain. I just also had a colposcopy on monday(3 days before i got a pos. prego test result) and wasnt supposed to have sex for at least 3 days.Well i didnt listen and had sex on the 2nd day(wednesday). I went to the ER when i woke p bleeding because i was affraid of a miscarriage, the doctor said my cervix is closed but i had some tissue down there. The diagnosed it as a "threatened miscarriage". But my mom says i could just be bleeding because i didnt give my self a chance to heal after having the colposcopy in which they took 2 samples of my cervix at that time. I bled for about 2 days(including some tissue) but now im just spotting and not bleeding as heavy. Does this sound like a miscarriage or just tissue and bleeding from my biopsy?

It doesn't seem like the tissue samples would cause bleeding to start 4 days later. Besides, it would have caused extreme pain if they had caused your cervix to bleed. The first trimester is a sensitive time for your body and the baby. I read in one place that it isn't suggested for a pg woman to have a colonoscopy because there haven't been studies done, but that it also hasn't proved to be too dangerous on the few preggers who have had it done. I pray everything turns out ok for you, baby and baby's daddy.

If you are only 1 wk technically you wouldn't be pregnant. You go by LMP unless a ultrasound confirms otherwise and that wouldn't be until later on. So.....if you are 1 wk that means you just ended your period. If you mean you are 1 wk past ovulation you still wouldn't get a positive on an HPT so I assume you mean you are actually 4 wks or more. Sounds like you might just be having complications from the biopsy but only time will tell. Just relax and follow your Drs instructions and take care of yourself. When you are about 7 wks they can do an ultrasound and find out for sure how the baby is. Goodluck. I hope everything works out ok for you.

the doctor would have done a test if he thought it wasbub and aeeing as how the bleeding has slowed id say its not bub but when you've recovered you should go see your doc and have the bub checked out, good luck hope all is ok

to be safe you should dubble check at the doctor but it sounds like you are just healing from your tests, good luck with everything

if the bleeding is becoming less and not more.. sounds promising, like your just slowly healing up.
