What do you think of my Poem?

And how does it make you feel?

The What That Matters

What it is, our what

that matters. The what

some say God, love some,

friends the say of some.

And with morning. And

a sunload of Ands

like joy this day like

spring so Eden-like

this moning and this

new day a praise this

all we praise the All

we praise Who is All.

Alleluia. Al-

leluia this All.

Update:

The repetition of the same word at the end of each verse, the same word as the first of the two lines is meant to be that way. And each line of this 14 line poem is five syllables long as well.

Update 2:

In case you're interested, this poem is based on the influence of the mystical Jesuit poet Gerard Manley Hopkins. If you like this poem, give some of his a good read. Wonderful poet.

    I didn't care for it...
