1. like in the movies when the guy/girl yells "you can marry him/her" when the pastor asks if anyone abjects

2. a blonde likes pink

3. the best friends always end up fallin in love with each other

a cliche is something that is really popular and overused

donuts always come in a plain pink box.

murders always happen during a dark rainy night.

the football player always goes out with the cheerleader.

a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse, as sadder but wiser, or strong as an ox.
