Does "perfect man" in Ephesians 4:13 have anything to do with Revelation 12:1-5 ?

Ephesians 4:13 .................. Till we all come in the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect MAN, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Revelation 12: 1-5 .............. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven ; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars : And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven ; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads, And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth : and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron : and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne.

Other translations use the term mature man, full grown man, thereby being perfect in the sense of Christian maturity.. This scripture in Ephesians goes along with Hebrews 5:12-14 where it speaks of Christians partaking of the milk, the Word of God and becoming full grown in their perceptions and their conduct. By doing thus, they were chosen to become a part of the body of Christ.-1 Cor 12:12,13.

In Revelation 12:1-5 this is symbolic language where the birth of Christ's kingdom and his battle in the heavenly elements is taking place. The great dragon, Satan, opposes this rulership by Christ.

On the earth Christians are fighting a spiritual battle against the influence of God's enemies.-2 Cor 10:2-4.

The reference of "a perfect man" in Ephsians refers to the highest state of human development according to the Will of God.The human being who have come to the recognition of the Word of God for his Salvation and adapts his whole earth life to it, is refined and moulded accordingly so that when he passes on into the beyond his maturing will continue until one day he is able to enter paradise where the perfected spirits live continually in worship of God.

The Revelation of John speaks about the Son of Man who is to come, the Darkness will do everything possible to hinder His Mission here on earth but, the Power of God will protect His Envoy from his enemies.

an similar prevalence is in Revelation: Rev 11:15 ¶ And the seventh angel sounded; and there have been large voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this global are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign with no end in sight. word that the "[the kingdoms]" are *not modern-day in Greek (which could be got here upon on the link -- click on the blue "C" to the left of the verse). Greek syntax is different from English. It says "they're getting -- those kingdoms of this global -- of the Lord and of his Christ." that is, the kingdoms of the global are literally the Lord's and his Christ's. It would not particularly say that they proceed to be separate kingdoms, because the translation and English syntax say. they're actually the Lord's. advantages. /Orthodox

YEs, Jesus is the perfect child born who lived and died and was resurrected again< He is our blessed HOPE.

HE lived a perfect life and we are told to follow Him to be like HIm in every way. THis also applies to NOW.

By our fruits God will know us. IF we arent living like Jesus, we arent really Gods a a born again Christian.

    Great question.

The word "perfect " in this verse I believe, is meant as "mature".

as in Mature in knowing the Gospel of Christ. the "knowledge of the Son of God" comes from knowing THE word. Christ is the LIVING word. As the apostle said "be perfect as I am perfect". In other words, be mature (very familiar/ perfect ) in God's word.

So no, I don't think they are in correlation . One doesn't necessarily refer to the other.

I really don't see where the verses tie in ,but I have read Rev-12 many times ,but never saw where the two co-relate.
