Do you think kids learn anything when they do their homework on YA!?

It seems every evening YA! gets bombarded by kids asking for answers to homework problems. Do you think they're actually learning anything from this exercise or is this another example of the "dumbing down of America?"

An attempt at getting someone on YA to do their homework is fairly easy to ferret out and I don't respond - or might even give an answer I know to be incorrect.

kids like me learn one thing. Go here and get some one else to do your homework for 10 points. It's cheaper than paying money. The next day, we learn if we made the right decision going with the persons answer when we find out if it was the right or wrong answer.

you are right-America is becoming dumber by the second.

Trust me, I am in high school, currently rank one in GPA, do varsity xc, involved in 4 clubs, 300+ volunteer hours, etc etc etc, and wow teens are ignorant, immature, and stupid these days. All everyone wants to do is go to each others houses and play video games and hang out and do fun things....while I stay at home by myself and study, do homework, read, listen to music, learn, sleep, eat, study more, and I never watch TV or play any video games!! The only time I hang out is during sports practices.

Using some of the answers found here would make teaching a bit more entertaining. According to my niece (10th grade) the teachers actually have lists of recommended sites for their studies as needed. Y/A didn't make the list.

I accept as true with you that their are alot of scholars who anticipate somebody else to do their homework for them. I additionally think of that those pupils have this physique of techniques because of the fact different human beings do do their homework for them. For me in my opinion, i won't be able to easily supply an answer. i will objective to grant an entire and thorough rationalization so as that the pupil is familiar with how I got here approximately my answer and would do the different destiny issues, and for those pupils who blatantly ask for somebody to jot down an entire 5 internet site essay for them because of the fact they have been too lazy to do it on their very very own I chastise them. In a manner pupils have become too based on others to do their homework it fairly is between the reasons that i'm seeing a great style of those little ones no longer even waiting to unravel some surprisingly uncomplicated math issues that entail uncomplicated multiplication and addition. component of the duty falls on the scholars to ask questions and bypass to their instructors for components to help and handbook them, the different duty ought to additionally fall on the mothers and dads. regrettably it fairly is often to straight forward to place the blame and duty else the place. i think of that as quickly because it contains assisting pupils with their homework, we ought to continually handbook them and help them to extra advantageous comprehend the fabric that they do no longer understand quite than giving them the respond. it is going to basically do them a great disservice and interior the long-term do them no sturdy. I do think of that something ought to be accomplished to decrease or alter a majority of those inquiries yet regrettably it fairly is merely too confusing and unhappy to suffice and say that probably no longer something would be accomplished.
