Why aren't humans born with a complete knowledge of all biblical laws, lessons and stories?

The "Middle Man" has the collection basket and they're not giving it up so easily. The "Middle Man" is in religion's driver seat, not God.

because.... well.... that is an awesome question! First think of all the languages there are in the world. Now think of how many misunderstandings there are in your daily life. Do you really believe that biblical text can transcend centuries of misinterpretations and personal bias?

The answer is probably not. I have always asked this question: What if someone was born on a deserted island right before his mother dies? Suppose the child lives. Where would he or she look for spiritual guidance? The answer is everywhere.

I believe that it is impossible to live a life that is not spiritual. Everyone is looking for the answer whether they want to admit it or not. When you are driving to work in the morning and you see the sun you make think: Thats pretty. But thats really "GOD"(God is just a word that fails to capture the full meaning of the entire concept of all creation).

Thats really as simple as it is. There are many differing layers of interpretation, but that is the answer.

Like it or not you are always a witness to the beauty of creation(some would use the word GOD's creation) but the point is the same. The truth is self evident. Cars, clothes, material possessions are just distractions.

You know what GOD is from the beginning. The only reason to ask why is because someone or something has caused you to become distracted.

If someone was born on an Island, I think they would be a thousand steps ahead of of us. By "us" I mean the homogeneous American cultural thoroughly adapted to the mass media culture. After all what is more distracting than Paris Hilton and poporazi. Take a look within without distraction. Make yourself the person on the island.

I know its sounds crazy but throw away your T.V. and see what you find in your fellow man and whats more in yourself. Be creative. Make something. Become passionate about a hobby or a business ventures. Dont sell out. Take a risk. Thats what GOD is. Surrender, in its purest form.

Well we don't get genetic memory but if we did that would be awesome, who needs to go to University just hand in your parents resume and it would technically be yours. If nothing was written down and the word of God was through people, then it would be just as easy to manipulate the words of the Bible to the advantage of man. There wouldn't be direct proof. If enough people wanted to believe the same thing, then you don't think they could get together and decide on it?

If the words of the Bible were implanted into your brain, from an early age you would be "told" in essence the way of the Bible, without being given the time to grow and learn in your own time. I am from a strictly non-Christian background. But the word of man is more untrust worthy than people writing it down, even if it has been translated and been "lost in translation". Pay enough people in the world to decree that the word of the Bible says a particular thing, and you will convince more people that what they *think* is the word of God, is actually just some form of doctrination.

Ok so I'm not arguing b/c I do agree the ? def. caught my eye and its a great one, But talk with an older person start at like 30 then go on to 65 then 80 and by the age difference you will the 80 knows more, and I'm 25 and would know little about it but i went to a christian school so I learned, but the 80+ had nothing more to do and churches were a must and slowing there were tv's and then dating and cars and the woman could work so people veered away from the do nothing life and the bible was less read, its our world. Its a test of fate that God gives us, do you want to take the time to learn is what he is asking?.. He gave us common sense to know right from wrong, and its up to us to show him if learning all that is worth it. He made his followers here on earth that were born with it we just have to be open minded and believe when they speak. Hope that helps! I'm only 25 but my grandparents know more about the bible than my parents and my parents well.....they know less than I but its because of my schooling just try to talk to people you'll see what I'm saying. Its easy enough. Free will, Free choice..but that is if you are fortunate to get those things. Not everyone has those options but that is not because of god but because of other people. People supress people.

A better point is that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old proven by science and fossils. Christians believe that the earth is only around 6,000. They are wrong. The Leatherback turtle had been alive for 2 million years and is still alive. This turtle proves all christians wrong. Maybe that is way they don't care about the environment, in hope to kill of all the animals that give proof to how old the earth is. What is next, burning all the fossils????

Because the man made biblical laws are not accurate. There is more to life than what is written in the bible. the bible doesnt say anything about our charts that we wrote before coming into this life. it also doesnt say anything about our spirit guides (which we all have), our angels that are always around us, and the fact that God did give us ways to stay in touch with the other side. The reason we come in to life with out no memory of our home, is because if we did remember, we would be killing ourselves left and right, just to get back to our loving home. we are all here for a reason, to learn and perfect our souls for God. Every thing that happens to us, good or bad, was charted by us and with the help of the council and God before we even came into this life. to truly have knowledge, we have to experience what we want to learn. there is no negativity on the other side, so we come to earth (which is only 1 planet God created for us to learn on)to gain knowledge of the different types of negatitvity.

I think that people have a natural sense of right and wrong if they are not pre programmed and indoctrinated.

The other day there was a story of this 5 yr old who burned his hands as he tried to open a door that was being engulfed in flames where his parents were sleeping.

He instinctively knew that something bad was happening and risked his hands to be burned and he never had been indoctrinated by religion. He just instinctively knew this.

On the other hand you see so many confused people on here asking if this or the other is a ‘sin’ or not because they have been so confused with religious indoctrination.

One could ask the same question but replace the word Bible with Koran or Dharma or any of the other sacred texts used by the rest of the world. Religion is what works best for a particular group of people in trying to make sense of who they are and why they are here.

People are born knowing nothing and understanding nothing. Babies are not capable of understanding things of God. It takes time for the brain to be able to understand how to walk, talk, and have understanding about God. God has given humans knowledge they need in away that people can understand it. God has a Divine plan and a reason behind each thing that is done.

When humans are born they have no knowledge of anything.

God's written Word was written by men who were led by God's Spirit to write what God wanted them to say to us.

When God's Word in the flesh came to the earth to tell us about salvation and eternal life, He was not the middle man. He is God. Jesus is the way that God chose to show us His love for us.

The knowledge of Jesus is found in God's written Word, the Bible.
