    egg drop soup....

Chicken broth (the amount your going to serve per person) , bring to a boil and add 1 beaten egg per person salt and pepper, the egg should be added to the water slowly. (I only make egg drop soup one serving at a time because you dont want it left over... it turns to jelly) So you can increase like I said per person.

I get my sweet and sour sauce from a jar at the store so I cant help with that one. Heres a receipe I found... doesnt sound good to me... the other receipes were out of ketchup... YUCKY!

Source(s): 4 1/2 TB rice vinegar 1 1/2 TB black rice vinegar 3/4 cup water 3 TB tomato paste 4 1/2 TB brown sugar 3/8 tsp chile sauce, or to taste 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 6 teaspoons water Preparation: Bring all the ingredients except the cornstarch slurry to a boil. Give the cornstarch/water slurry a quick restir and add, stirring quickly to thicken. Use with chicken, pork or spareribs. To thicken the sweet sour sauce for use as a dipping sauce, increase the amount of cornstarch to 3 teaspoons. Yields 1 1/4 cups.

The soup is very easy. You take a large can of chicken broth (or equal amount), and bring it to a boil and then a high simmer. Add 2 tsp. soy sauce and a little garlic powder and ginger (maybe 1/2 tsp. each). Beat two eggs, bring broth back to the boil, and add beaten eggs while stirring. Done. You can make an easy s/s sauce by combining an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce w/ a cup of apricot jam, adding 1 tbs. of lemon juice or cider vinegar and a dash of salt and heat.
