Hopefully you have the other truck there for a donor. Before you start, check the diff gear ratio. It maybe mismatched for the standard tranny or you may end up changing the diff as well. Could turn into a major project.

    1. Remove the pedals from the donor vehicle & install

    2. Install clutch master cylinder

    3. Remove the seat & carpet

    4. Remove the floor pan & install the one from the donor vehicle. (may have to leave until engine & tranny are installed)

    5. Install the engine & tranny.

    6. Check driveshaft length may have to use the one from the donor vehicle

    7. Bleed the slave cylinder

    8. Install the interior

    9. Fill with fluids

    Have fun . . .

Well for starters you will need the ECM that came from the vehicle originally with the manual. Your current ECM (computer) for the automatic is set up to control the shifting and monitor the gear ratios in the tranny. If you change to manual, the ecm will not like it. Other than that, you'll need the obvious, like the pedal setup for the clutch, the clutch master cylinder, the shifter, and you'll have to get the shifter through the floor....

It's a lot tougher than it was on older cars....about the only way you'll make it work is to have the whole donor vehicle to get whatever parts you need, and it will need to be the same year or +/- 1 yr or so so the computer will not freak out.

Replace the motor ,but keep the automatic tranmission (to save your sanity and wallet) If you really want a manual transmission , trade trucks.

You could just swap the flywheel and leave it as an auto trans, To much trouble to swap it to a standard.
