Does it annoy you when people ask a question and not pick a best answer?
Like it makes you wonder if they even check back to see if its been answered... Kinda makes the time spent answering seem wasted!

They don't have to pick, after a given amount of time, and they will send you reminders to extend if you wish, the votes can pick the best answer.
What really sucks is I see something with a bunch of crappy answers and I POUR MY HEART AND SOUL INTO A REALLY GOOD ANSWER and those never get picked.

Yes it does. I only have one question in voting because I didn't have time to check for Best Answer. I was in Tennessee. I live in Indiana.

yea specially if they really want to know. maybe they felt like none of the answers actually gave them what they are looking for or they just forgot. leaves it up to the voters and then it can only take one vote for someone to get best answer.

Not really. They use it they way they want, and I use it the way I want. I have no desire to control what anyone else does.
