In revelation 13: 14,15 ......Do you think the image could be an android with a computer brain ?

In the book of Daniel 7 and 8 it gives a parallel of beasts and how they reflects this beast in Revelation. They are representative of world empires and their succession through the ages up to the time of the Roman empire. These were man-made governments that puts under compulsion those on the earth to give allegiance to their structure. In Revelation the mark on the forehead and the right hand is shown by mankind being forced to acknowledging this image's ruling power. Daniel 2:44; 7:14,15 shows that God's Kingdom will replace all man-made governments

I'm quite certain it won't be an android with a computer brain. I'm not sure any of us knows for sure what this image could

be...I'm sure there are hundreds of books written on this

speculating on what the image is. With hundresa of explanations.

Having said that I couldn't answer just how this will be employed but I do agree that whatever this image is, whether it is a political force,or a person under the anti-christ with great power, it will most definitely have access to all information about every person alive.

I am assuming that computer will be the vehicle used to track down and organize the mark of the beast.

Instead of dwelling on about what the image is believe it more relevant to share the good news of the gospel...explaining to those Christ has placed into our lives...his plan of salvation... and building them up in the Lord...also to explain breifly what the book of Revelations speaks about and warning all about not receiving the mark of the beast. Being sure to tell people the consequences of either receiving ithe mark, or not receiving it...leading them again to Christ!

Revealing The Image And The Mark Of The Beast

Revelation 13:15-17

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, of in their foreheads : and that no man might buy of sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Saints, with the mind boggling technology we now have, almost anything is possible ! Knowledge is increasing at an unfathomable rate ( Daniel 12:4 ) ! Cloning , growing skin , computers , and many other mind warping things are going on ! It seems that NOTHING is impossible !

Now we know that only God has the power to give life, right ?!

And throughout the scriptures, we see that we are not to bow down to an IMAGE ! So, for SURE, it isn't God giving life to the image ! Especially one for us to WORSHIP !

Now although I am guilty of watching Star Trek at times, I can't see that we will have the technology of most of the things presented there, but, WE DO HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO HAVE AN ANDROID ! An image of a man, with a computer brain, with access to all the knowledge in the world. Can you see where I'm going with this ? No, I've not flipped my wig ! This is serious, and true !

The Image is the android ! The Beast gives it the capability of looking and acting as a man. A " reflection " of life...

Since Satan cannot create spiritual, he will create a natural, to rule over a natural minded people !

The Mark of the Beast is being experimented with even right now : Bar codes and GPS tracking systems, even capsules that gives direct access to satellites, which connect to a computer bank that stores all the information about a person. This is why there is so much information being accumulated ! Especially by the Government !

Now consider this : In 2009, it is MANDATORY to go to Digital T.V. , or, get a coupon FROM THE GOVERNMENT, to receive a box that will do the same with an antenna . Same ? The power to see into your home, as you are watching T.V. ?

Another way to gain info, all in the name of " National Security ". I wonder why no-one has questioned this !

It has the numbers of everyone already & they start with the 666. I heard that years ago. And our 666 number is our S.S. number plus our mailing zip code. 9+9=18 ('6+6+6'=18).

But they are in the process of building a better computer. It could be this android you are thinking of.

DaveC. You are adding to Revelation when you say the 'Beast' is 'Sunday observance'. If you think that Sunday observance is bowing to the beast, then what about the scripture that tells us to not judge others on their Sabbath observances. It is written to not judge lest we be judged.

And so? And what does it write at the end of Revelation to those who add to the book?

        Absolutely not! First of all, what did the beast (the papal system) stand for? They adopted many pagan practices and Christianized them in order to attract the pagans into the Church, to become Christians, while still keeping their old pagan practices but under new Christianized names. Then, like Babylon of old (Dan. 3:1-6), they mandated (created laws for) the observance of their form of religion and included a death decree for those whom would not conform.

        The number one practice, for this form of religion, is the observance of Sunday as a holy day -- a practice which is never sanctioned at any time by God's Word, the Bible. In point of fact, they readily admit to this truth and even brag about it as a badge of honor (their "mark" of authority -- their words) that they were able to influence the world to follow their false practice. The proof of this, and they admit this, too, is that almost all supposedly Protestant religions still follow the papal system's example of observing Sunday as a holy day.

        From this, it is pretty easy to postulate just what the "image to the beast" is going to be. The lamb-like beast (the United States) is going to create laws which will mandate observance of Sunday as a holy day and will include a death decree for those whom will not conform. Revelation confirms this:

Rev. 13:11-14 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (12) And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed...

Rev. 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

        That phrase, "the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed," tells us that laws (which are how a nation "speaks") will decree the death of those whom do not honor (worship) the image of the beast (Sunday observance).
