There is more to the "right" size bike than just your height. Go to a local bike shop and let them fit you to the correct size. Test ride the bike. Once you know what a correctly fitted bike feels like, you can make apples-to-apples comparisons with other shops or sources. Don't feel obligated to buy a bike from the first shop that sizes you. If they don't have the best value proposition, then they don't deserve your business. Besides, you'll probably be back to buy tires, tubes, accessories, and clothing. I have heard they make more money on that stuff than on the bikes.

Since you didn't mention the type of bike the 1st answer is a total guess. I'm 5' 8" with 30" inseam and ride/race MTB and road.

    I'll provide ballpark sizes for:

    MTB: 16 to 17 (me - 16.5 Giant)

    Road: 52cm (me 52cm Cannondale CADD 5)
