I accidently reported someone's answer. How do I remove the report?
Hiya, by accident I reported somebody's answer I had meant to report the person on top's answer because they were so rude, I managed to report him in the end. In my haste I reported the wrong answer!! How do I remove the report I put on the other persons answer? Feel really bad as there answer was totally sweet. Would appreciate the help.
Thanks x

If you report a question, and the asker appeals and wins, your reporting rights will be restricted - not good.
If you look through the Help pages (top right hand corner, below ''web search''), you should be able to find a link that will allow you to contact community care (I think that's what it's called), if you explain your mistake I'm sure everything can be resolved amicably.
Hope I've been of some help.

There isn't a way to un-report an answer or question. But don't worry, you clicking report won't delete their answer. The request to delete the answer gets sent to the people at Yahoo! Answers and they will decide if it needs to be removed. You won't get in trouble or anything ;)

You shouldn't have posted a question admitting it! You should have just let it be and they wouldn't have known it was you.
