Foot Tattoo?

Has anyone ever gotten a tattoo on the inner side of their foot? I just recently (Wednesday) got a tattoo on the inner side of my right foot. It's a tribal fairy. She is flying her legs are behind her and her arms are stretched out. One is in front of her and one is behind her. The spiral wind like things are on the side of my foot above the heal part of my foot and curve up between my ankle and my tendon. The wings come in front of my ankle. Her outward stretched arm is about 3/4 of the way between my heal and my big toe, and the spiral wind like things end on the little joint at the bottom of my big toe. her stomach is actually sort of IN THE ARCH of my foot a bit.

What I'm asking is does anyone have a tattoo like this? I mean in the same general location? I have 9 tattoos and none of them had phased me at all but this was extremely sensitive for me. I kept experiencing tingling in my foot and my foot constantly fell asleep during the tattoo where I had to get up and walk around.

Update:

Now it's bruised and it's painful for me to walk on . Usually by now it shouldn't be painful at all. I've never experienced any sort of pain afterwards. Is this normal for that area? Did any of you experience anything like this after getting a tattoo on your foot? Was it painful during the tattoo? Or what do you think might have happened. Someone said the artist may have gone too deep, but he did another tattoo on me in another location at the same time and that tattoo didn't bother me at all. I hardly felt it and it doesn't hurt at all now either. Like I said, it was my 9th one so I know a lot about tattoos, but its the first one on my foot besides a small star on the other foot in the same general location (between my ankle and tendon). Maybe it didnt bother me because it was smaller?

The inside of your foot is a sensitive area, I know if I just step on a small stone in the right area of my foot, I get a big bruise. You're probably like me and just have really sensitive feet. Ice it down, give yourself a couple days with minimal walking and see what happens. I'm sure it will feel better after that. Hope this helps! Your tattoo sounds awesome!!

Foot tattoos are not supposed to hurt any worse or longer than other tattoos. There are not even as many nerves in your foot as other places like ribs and your underwear line. If it gives you problems past the two week healing you should definitely go back to the artist, that's not normal. Good luck.

If you are in pain. Go get medical attention immediately. It isnt uncommon for tattoos to get infected. If this is an infection or maybe even an allergic reaction to the specific ink the artist used then you need to see a professional asap.

    Good luck to you.

Since you are obviously experienced in tattoos and don't know what to do you should just go and talk to the artist or another artist if you think he may have done something wrong. Good luck
