I live in Puerto Rico and I wanna spend my vacation on Florida this May, can I travel with my certificate of naturalization while I'm getting my US passport or do I need it to travel within US territory?

This is what I found on the following site, and enjoy your trip.

Will travelers from U.S. territories need to present a passport to enter the United States?

No. These territories are a part of the United States. U.S. citizens returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the U.S. territory and do not need to present a passport. U.S. territories include the following: Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

If you fly from Puerto Rico to Florida then you will not leave US territory and do not need a passport.

You are a US citizen you can travel within the US without a passport. Florida is part of US.

Yes, anywhere you want to go. You do not need a US passport to go anywhere, you can fly or drive to anywhere you want as long as you don't exit US territory. For example, you can get in a car in Florida, drive to New York, then drive to California if you want to do so, or take a domestic flight or train. All you need is an ID, to verify who you are!

Yes! Travel within the US only requires a picture ID such as a driver's license or a state ID.

Even if you are not a US citizen, you are able to travel anywhere in the US w/o a passport. Passports are primarily used when traveling abroad.
