NHL Playoffs: Sens Vs Pens?

Did anyone see that game? Does anyone else think Andrej Meszaros is one of the biggest reasons the Sens lost?!

I mean he can't keep the puck in the offensive zone... he can't shoot on net worth a damn... he always waits till he's covered to take a shot only to have it BLOCKED IN THE LAST SECONDS OF THE GAME SCREWING THEM TOTALLY!!!

What you think?

i didn't get to watch the game, but the senators lost because the penguins were better, plain and simple, the pens played better, scored more, had better d and better goaltending. Can't blame one guy for the loss. Senators were not ment to be it this year.

Fotunatley they had a good start and accumalated enough points to squeeze in to the playoffs because they didn't deserve a playoff spot with their second half play. From the break on they were terrible, other teams were playing a lot better but didn't get that playoff spot.

I think it was a team effort for the reason they lost not just Meszaros. They really didn't belong there.

Basically what it comes down to is the stars for the Pens showed up and the stars for the Sens didn't.

The only person from the Sens that showed up was Gerber and that position was what everyone kept saying was their biggest weakness. If it wasn't for him the pens would have had a lot more goals.

  • I think you are nuts. Redden played far worse than Andrej. The Pens are a powerful team. The Sens had at least a half dozen injuries. Even with everyone healthy, the Pens were taking the series.

I think the entire Senators team was balls, Spezza and Heatley are getting paid roughly 14.5m a year between them and all they can come up with is an F-ing assist? Gerber did all he could, I expected much worse of him, he was our best player. Commodore had 2 assists in the series but I can remember clearly 2 goals that were his fault so I kinda hate him, hope they trade him.

I think it was the whole team's fault.

They didn't put their best effort forward, im happy that my team won they worked hard for it.

    i agree. major balls. haha.

    seriously, they were just outplayed.

    get over it.

people can start lining up for the penguins to beat them.
