Survey,,Are you a regular Polls and Surveys user who is quite happy to?
spend hours answering mundane polls and surveys on Y?A but if you saw a person in the street doing a survey for a good cause you`d cross the road rather than get stopped by them,,

What a great question Mr President :o) xxx I am quite happy to stop and do surveys in the street too, but must admit that I DO avoid people who want you to take out catalogues/Sky TV and such like! :o) xxxx

I usually stop and answer the surveys except if I am running late for an appt or for something equally important. I even answer many of the surveys on the phone and at my door too :) - I like to think that my opinion helps :)

Yes I am. It's a good question. I think most people are like that because they answer on Yahoo in their own time for fun, and there is always the idea in the street that the person with the clipboard is going to ask you something you don't know / like / or will cost money.

We have lots of Street Surveys in my part of London Happy and I'm more than happy to participate in them....you usually get some freebies or a small bit of cash !!
- How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

No I'll gladly answer any polls/surveys - even the people who come to the door, I reckon everyone deserves a chance to earn a living.
I like it on here though as it is fun and you can 'fit it in' with whatever else is going on!

Yep, i just see the clip board and run the other way.
I don't mind so much with the surveys but it's the people that ask for money that piss me off and i can't tell the difference, don't get me wrong i'm all for charity work, but if i wanna donate i'll look them up, i don't want to be hounded while i'm trying to do my shopping.
Sorry Rant over now. lol. xxx

The problem is that the last time I did one in the street, the woman involved wanted to know my opinions on oven chips!
At least P&S is a bit more interesting than that.

The trouble with street surveys is that they often turn into asking for money.
Also, whilst walking along the street, I am usually trying to get somewhere whereas on the computer, I am not trying to go anywhere, often just expanding my knowledge or passing the time.
Also, it doesn't rain on me when I'm on the computer!

LOL, you're right. I hate being pulled in the street and asked to do a survey.
