Hubby having bad stomache pain sinse first ultrasound.?
I am currently 22 weeks preg. Sinse my first ultrasound my hubby has been having major stomach pains. Almost feels like a pulled muscle. Then he feels like he is going to throw up and stomach just hurts really bad. He has been to one doc that says he had a hernia and another doc that says that htey didnt know what was wrong with him. They have also done blood tests and didnt find anything wrong. I am wondering if it is anxiety about the baby. Has anyone elses hubbys had the same problem? Please help!!!
Ok heres more details. The blood test did rule out appendicitis and we have seen a surgon about a hernia and they have ruled that out. The pain comes and goes and is in several diffrent spots back, stomache, where your appendix is, by his groin.
gull bladder is located up in your rib area it is his lower abs that is hurting. not up around his rib area

I'm not being silly here but maybe he's having a 'phantom pregnancy'. It's true that men sometimes have a 'sympathy labor' along with their wives. Maybe what ever you would take for his pregnancy woe's give him some. I think it's lovely he's so 'sypathetic' or maternal. Good luck : )

Well my boyfriend had sympothy pains.. but I would definitly go see a surgeon to find out if it is a hernia, my boyfriend has also had a hernia actually 2 but several doctors said it was a hernia, his first surgeon said he didnt have one then the next the second surgeon he saw said he did and when they did the surgery there were 2.

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV. Try taking some ex-lax or something along those lines. That should loosen up the ol' bowels and empty you out. Back pain is a sign of constipation too, so it might just be that you need to have a good dump.

It truly sounds like a hernia, and I'd recommend he see a general surgeon now and get it repaired, before it gets too serious, or before the baby gets here, because for a little while, he wouldn't be able to hold it, but if he get it fixed now he will. Good luck, and if he starts to get a fever, or really constipated, or starts throwing up, go to the ER now.

Where is the pain relative to his belly button? If it is in the belly button area or below, it may be an intestinal problem. Is he anxious about the new baby? Stress can aggravate the colon. He may want to go to a gastroenterologist.

Well when I was pregnant, my boyfriend got morning sickness, while I didn't. So it could be that or sympathy pains. I hope you all find out what is going on. Good luck!
