Have you ever thought that maybe Jesus is the Anti-Christ?

Just hear me out, I'm not making any statements. I'm just trying to get you to look at it from a different point of view. In revelation it states that the first beast would blasphemize God and have a wound that was severely wounded, but healed and the whole world marveled at this. How could you commit more of a blasphemy than to proclaim to be God? What bigger healed wound than to be crucified and return from the dead? Plus the whole world has marveled at this. Then the 2nd beast will come and make everybody worship the 1st beast and build statues in his honor. How many statues of Jesus have you seen? How many crucifixes? Then there's 666, which many scholars say is Vicarius Filii Dei, or Vicar of the Son of God, which Roman Numerals = 666. I've also read that the Anti-Christ will try to change the calendar after him. Now we have B.C. and A.D. Maybe the beast isn't Jesus, but the church created image of Jesus. It's all weird and probably just a coincidence, though. ?

Update:

Gay Rabbi, you're wrong, where does it say the messiah comes first? How can the messiah save the world from a beast who hasn't arrived yet?

Update 2:

Steve, I don't know if you're arguing for or against me. People say the devil's greatest deception is convincing the world he doesn't exist, but what if his greatest deception is actually convincing the world that he is God?

Update 3:

It's nice to see so many open minds. Just remember that according to the bible only 144,000 people will not be deceived so how can everybody know the truth?

Update 4:

The Knights who say NI! you might as well have written your own Book of Revelation since you know all the meanings and how it will come to fruition.

Maybe it is a false rep of God, and not a real god, but I think it may be an ambassador that comes and declares the original christ as 'Christ' ,but only with untrue teachings of Jesus's doctrine, that get the masses deceived.

    It's utterly wierd.

For one thing, A.D. and B.C. calendar came from a tenth-century monk named Dionysius Exiguus (Dennis the Short, in English).

For another, the very title "Christ" was not from Jesus' time--it was a Greek translation of "Messiah" that Paul adopted because Greek was more fashionable. So Jesus never was "Christ" in his own time--not Anti-Christ either.

When the word "anti-Christ" appears in the Bible (it's NOT in Revelation, folks; it's in some epistles) it refers to people who have a general attitude against the teachings. Often it's pluralized.

I hope these details get your mind out of this loop. Perhaps some further critical reading of the Bible is in order:

Actually the tyrannical authoritarian god of the old testament is Satan, Jesus in the OT is the forbidden fruit, the manna, lucifer, and baalim... The Church is the anti christ of the new testament... The Church are the ones that have put themselves upon the throne of God claiming to be all that is God... hehe...

Also since it was the church that replaced Jesus the dope, with the pope in what was basically the first big war on drugs, it's the church who are the anti drug or anti christ.

properly mentioned!! great to work out a question of substance at right here. certainly, i do no longer think of this finished united states of america is waiting. you have specific wallet, which contain the Northeast, West, Southeast that are waiting, because of the fact they have had an inflow of immigrants and are greater tolerant, yet there is maximum folk of landlocked states that are greater inflexible, the two approximately ideals and approximately social classic structures. i'm from Jersey, and that i've got traveled a honest proportion around the country, and that i undergo in techniques being thoroughly shocked whilst traveling specific states. for example, I went to South Carolina looking forward to some issues, and that i replaced into dealt with indifferently (that's great!), yet when I went to Ohio, I had the worst time cuz I felt certainly one of those widening disparity between White and Black, and that i'm no longer even Black (i'm Dominican), so as that replaced into much greater perplexing. ordinary, i do no longer think of the finished united states of america is waiting. Obama's movements would be amplified and magnified, and that i individually have faith some voters will choose no longer in straightforward terms him yet additionally the minority community, fantastically Afri. Amer., plenty greater harshly. In less difficult words, he's representing Afri. Amer. and each thing he does would be amplified for the international to hearken to.

Jesus didn't make our calendar, it's the Julian calendar after Julius Caesar. Jesus didn't proclaim to be God, He proved that He was God by the things He did. He proved He had power over life and death (even His own), and He proved that He had the authority to forgive sins (a thing only God can do). HE is the one who told us about the anti-christ, so it doesn't make sense that He'd be the anti-christ, now does it? Jesus doesn't fill any of the evidences of the anti-christ, but fits right in with every evidence of being the Christ, the Messiah.

It is clearly stated in the Bible, in the four Gospels that Jesus is God and the Son of God.

If you really observed the Bible, check John 1 verse 1.

The whole New Testament would not stand if Jesus wasn't God.

The only problem with that logic is that Jesus didn't create Christianity. Man did. I am pretty confident that Jesus did not wish to be worshiped as a God. He was incarnated into a man to teach us how to live, not to be worshiped. If anything he was a socialist leader.

There is no such entity as satan or an antichrist; No hell either..It is necessary to understand God's word on such matters and to ignore christian mythology..Read Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. God bless

  • No I have never thought such nonsense. I am an intelligent adult. To think of Jesus as anything at all is nothing more than juvenile fantasy.

That's pretty twisted thinking, don't you think?

Jesus is the Son of God, savior, healer, deliverer and redeemer
