For the Jews who acepted Yeshua I ask?

is there another passover if you miss the first one. and how do you do passover. and when does it start and end and what do you do to keep it. Anna

Update:

Okay, Yeshua has fulfilled all the prophecies concerning the Messiah He is all over the Old Testament starting in Genesis all the way to Malachi. Why are you still waiting on your Messiah when he came to win your hearts a King needs a Kingdom does he not, Yahweh is not going to force Himself on anybody.

Update 2:

Hi Samiach, Yahweh has talk to the Jews telling them that he hates their feast and festivals that all he asked was for them to give him a clean heart. About salvation Yeshua was the perfect lamb who takes away the sins of the world. the animal did not take them just cover them. So Yahweh offer his only son Born of a virgen by Yahweh's Spirit overshadow her. Yeshua is the word of Yahweh. reed for yourself. Zec.9:9 12:10 13:6-7 Isaiah 52 and 53 the whole chapters. Psalms 22 and Psalm 16:10-11 Shalom

Update 3:

Genessa Yahweh told Moses that Yahweh is his name and that by this name he was to be evoke but the Israelites, reed Numbers 6 22-27 You think they know better so they call Him Baal, and you see what Elijah did to the Jewish Prophets he kill them all. Yahweh never said how it was to be pronounce, but He was to be called for all generations Yahweh. So why do you obey the Talmud man made and not the Word of the almighty Yahweh. Or do you prefer Baal. I obey what I reed in the Torah not man maid Talmud. This is why the Scribes and Pharisees hated Yeshua because he kept the Torah but broke their Talmud Laws. The same they use today in Cabala which is a cult from Satan

My goodness anna, you certainly stirred up them anti-christ. Do not be disturbed, they are blind and cannot find the door, as the wicked people of Sodom could not find the door of Lot's house. Jew, I suppose, comes from Judah, and Christ is the King of the Jews.

I guess you could observe a lot by reading through the gospel, looking for the Lamb of God, Pasha (yeshua), how he was without blemish, how he came into the house, a year for a day, how he was purging the leaven of unbelief from the people, how he was consumed by the fire of the holy ghost (zeal for th ine house has eaten me up), how he was offered up by the jews on the eve of the passover, killed and buried.

His Passover is a wonderful thing to meditate on.

A person who missed passover, for example, because of touching a dead body, could celebrate it in the next month.

Num 9:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Num 9:2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.

Num 9:3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.

Num 9:4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.

Num 9:5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Num 9:6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:

Num 9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

Num 9:8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.

Num 9:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Num 9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

Num 9:11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Num 9:12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

Num 9:13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

Num 9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

    There are messianic websites.

Hi Anna, I'm a Christian who keeps the Passover of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, "Our Passover, sacrificed for us" (1 Corinthians 5:7).

In the Old Testament, the true Passover Sacrifice of the Lord was represented by an animal from the flocks of the people, a lamb. Since the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the true Passover Lamb of God, sacrifice has been unnecessary. But Jesus asked his disciples to remember him, no longer by a roast lamb, but in a ceremony of bread and wine, symbolically representing his body and blood.

Paul made it clear that this ceremony was a memorial of Jesus' sacrifice and death (1 Corinthians 11:26). He also said that we are to continue in the celebration of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (1 Corinthians 5:8).

And the Passover is NOT fulfilled by the Sacrifice of Jesus, for at the Last Supper he said, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it UNTIL IT IS FULFILLED IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD" (Luke 22:15-16). Note that the Passover will NOT be fulfilled until the Kingdom of God comes with Christ.

Also, you referred to Isaiah 1:14 when you said to Samiach, "Yahweh has talk to the Jews telling them that he hates their feast and festivals." But you have impressed upon that Scripture the typical erroneous interpretation that God hates the Holy Days that HE gave to Israel. Rather, God did not say he hated HIS Holy Days, but THEIR holy days. Israel keeps holy days that God did not sanction, days that were derived from their heathen neighbors. They were NOT keeping God's appointed days holy; THAT'S what he hates, not his own Holy Days that he appointed for the good of all.

Notice what God said in the previous verse, "The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies-- I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting." God still called his Sabbaths "sacred!" GOD'S Holy Days ARE sacred, not an abomination.

Therefore, the God appointed Holy Days (including Passover) are still observed by Christians who seek to do God's will. They have NOT been abolished.

Observance of the Passover and the Feast:

All leaven and leavened products are removed from the home for the entire week of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. They are not to eaten or possessed for the Holy Week.

On the evening (last quarter of daylight -- the time of Jesus' death) of the 14th of Nisan (Abib), the Christian Passover is observed in a leaven free environment. The people observe the foot-washing ceremony first. Then there is typically a short, mostly explanatory sermon with Scriptural references and prayer over the unleavened bread; it is distributed to the attendees. Then the same is done for the wine. Only a small portion of each is needed. A concluding prayer and hymn.

The Passover is on April 19, between approximately 4:30 p.m. and sunset. Sunset on Saturday, April 19 begins the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Feast ends on April 26 at sunset. The First and Last days are High Day Sabbaths.

Passover is the only Holy Day that God has allowed for a makeup day (an indication of how important it is to God and us). If, for a legitimate reason, one misses the Passover, he may keep it at the same time on the 14th day of the next month (Iyar).

    -~<=>~- -~<=>~- -~<=>~- -~<=>~- -~<=>~- -~<=>~-

    Scriptural Reference:

Isaiah 1:13-14 -- Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies-- I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. 14 Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.

Try seeing if the Jews for Jesus organization has a website... (they are based in San Francisco, last I heard). If they do, I am sure you could find information. You missed it for this year though, since the timing usually coincides with Easter. Some Messianic congregations that I have attended practice the Passover seder (meal) as the Jews do, only additionally they name Jesus as the Passover lamb. Also, lots of Jewish congregations welcome Christians to partake of Passover with them - call around and ask for a local one in your neighborhood. :)

I believe that if you are a Jew, you could still accept Yeshua as Lord....you would then be called a Messianic Jew, a Jew who acknowledges that Jesus is the Messiah (the Promised One). In the Bible it says that upon accepting Jesus, the Gentiles are grafted into God's family, therefore a Hebrew can be a believer in Yeshua. The first 4 Gospels give proof that Jesus is the Messiah. Please read them with an open mind. Did you know that what we Christians celebrate as Communion (the Last Supper), was actually Jesus celebrating Passover with his disciples?

Whatever your belief, I'd like to remind everyone to pray for Israel and her peace. Shalom!

No Jews accept the person you call Yeshua as the messiah, if that's what you mean. Whatever such people choose to call themselves, they're Christians. As, it would seem, you are. So why do you want to celebrate Passover?

  • How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
  • You mean Christians then.

If you want to join a seder as a guest, then see if any Jewish organizations in your area are having a communal one. They tend to be on the second night though, so you'll probably have to wait until next year.

No observant Jew has, or ever will, accept the divinity of Jesus. Many Jews have followed leaders they believed to be the messiah, but NONE of them claimed to be God!! For Jews, the belief that God would become human is the ultimate heresy!

Any Jewish followers of Jesus would never have considered themselves Christian if it involved worshiping a man-made god! That's why Paul had to sell his religion to the Romans -- none of whom were willing to be circumcized. Voila -- abrogate those pesky laws!

Jesus was a fraud, who if he performed any miracle at all, was empowered of Satan the Adversary, to test the Jews and see if they understood the prophecies. Those who followed him, including Christians and the so-called "Messianic Jews" are those who failed this test and were led away from G-D.

http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/ list the hundreds of prophecies Jesus failed to fulfill.

Jesus was NOT a member of the tribe of Judah since he had no biological father (according to the Bible).

Jesus did NOT directly descend from David through Solomon, patriarchally.

Jesus did NOT gather all the Israelites and restore them to Israel.

Jesus did NOT rebuild the Temple (in fact, it FELL shortly after he allegedly died).

Jesus did NOT rule, let alone at a time of world-peace.

Jesus did NOT rule, let alone at a time all Jews everywhere kept perfect observance of the mitzvot.

Jesus did NOT rule, let alone at a time when all peoples everywhere would know and acknowledge G-D alone, and serve him in perfection.

    http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/jews-jesus/jews-jesu...

Further, contrary to Christian claims Jesus will fulfill the prophecies at his second coming, why did he not do so? Jesus died, Jesus went elsewhere. Then Jesus returned and hung out for 40 days. As such, Christians are waiting for a THIRD coming, not second.

Worse still, there is not one single prophecy in the Old Testament that the Coming Messiah will fulfill the prophecies in multiple comings. They are quite specific that he gets one lifetime to do them, or fails the test.

If one is born a Jew and begins to believe Jesus...he or she is no longer considered a Jew in god's eyes!...it's a known fact!

You should read the book "26 reasons why Jews do not believe in Jesus" (notice how it DOESN'T say "26 reasons why SOME Jews do not believe in Jesus")

I'm guessing by the look of this question that you yourself are not Jewish...therefore,, why the hell are you asking about "how to do passover"? why do you wan to know so much!?

    Passover is a JEWISH holiday!

A Jew who 'accepts Jesus' IS A CHRISTIAN.

Just as a Muslim who converts to Christianity IS A CHRISTIAN.

Just as a Christian who converts to Judaism IS A JEW.

No Jew can worship ANYONE but G-d and REMAIN Jewish. It does not work that way.

No Jew can worship Christ, or any other human, and still claim to represent Judaism. They are an apostate in the Jewish community. A Jew cannot VIOLATE TORAH and still be Jewish.

A Jew who 'finds Christ' is NOT a 'jew who worships Jesus', they are now a practising CHRISTIAN.

    EDIT TO ASKER

    - no Jesus is not even mentioned in the 'old testament'. You need to get an ACCURATE translation of the original Hebrew of the TANAKH.

Jesus does not feature in the Tanakh, not at all.

And he did not fulfill ANY of the JEWISH prophecies. Is there world peace? No. Did Jesus rebuild the temple before he died? Did he end war, BEFORE he died?

    No to all.

That proves he was not the messiah. And the Jewish messiah does NOT get a 'second coming'. HE MUST BRING WORLD PEACE IN HIS ONE NORMAL, HUMAN LIFETIME.

    edit

'jews4jesus' is a CHRISTIAN group, founded by Martin Meyer - he is an ordained BAPTIST minister.

99% of the members of that group were NEVER Jewish to start with.

    They practise Christianity.

    They preach Christianity.

    They worship Christ.

They OPENLY admit their goal is to CONVERT Jews to Christianity.

Now I ask you: what JEWISH group would be run by a BAPTIST and would have as its' aim the conversion of JEWS to CHRISTIANITY????????????
