Subwoofer Boxes..... More or less volume the better??
Okay, I decided I wanted a sealed box, not vented....because I could vent it myself if I wanted to, but is it better for a box to have MORE or LESS volume, for a random example box be better if it had 2 cubic ft per sub or 1 cubic foot per sub. K thnx.

For sealed, a smaller box will give you more "boom". A larger box will give you more sound quality.
Be sure to stay within the manufacturers recommendations. If they give you a range be sure to stay within that range.

refer to man. specs. like previous answers, you need to know if you have room for boxes they recomend. one thing i have found is that a speaker in a ported box will not handle the same power as one in a sealed box. i have 3 1800 watt subs in a 6.6 cubic foot box built to specs with ports and everything. took some time to figure it out but it was worth it. dont cut holes in a 1 cubic foot box, yo wont like the end result, and you will probably swear off ported boxes in the long run.
previous answer had good point of response versus boom, there are pros and cons to each, you just have to read the specs and decide for yourself what you want

bigger boxes usualy make bigger sound. but look at what you manufacturer recomends (it will usualy give you a range like .88cuft.-1.25cuft.) go for the larger size.
