Aiding the growth of Krantz Aloe (Aloe arborescens)?
I recently transplanted an aloe plant from a pot into the ground, along with taking some fully rooted sprouts and planting those as well. What is a good regimen of fertilizer/plant food that helps aloe grow healthily and aid in sprouting flowers?

Depending on environmental conditions the Krantz aloe is a bullet proof plant. We merely cut a stalk, let it dry out in the sun for a day or so, and then stick it into the earth and it grows. Water sparingly as aloes do not tolerate sustained over watering. Mulch and a light composting annually will do the trick. Krantz aloes are common in my area where they are generally found in forest margins or in full sun amongst rock in shallow soil. Ours will start flowering from May. onwards. You can give me a call if you need more info.
