I am being sued?
I had a reposession in 2002. We were sent interrogitories in March of 2007. we answered them and sent them back then. The attorney has asked for a summary judgement. I asked for a court date last week. I have to go to court on May 14th. Do I have a justifiable defense on the Statute of Limitations since it has now been 6 years plus?

Depends on what was repossessed and what state you are in; SOL varies from state to state.

I doubt it. They have attorneys and you don't. You should be able go to an attorney for a free consultation just to discuss whether it is worthwhile to take this case and what the cost would be. It might be better to call the people you owe the money and work out a payment agreement NOW.
