    It means it is a weird way how to spell the world that the (sic) is after.

    (sic) means either Spelling Is Correct or Sentence Is Correct. There's a T-shirt that says "Bad Grammar Makes Me (sic)." that I really like. ^_^

    I saw it used in an analysis of an AP essay, for example. It was something like "The author asserts that only then can Jane 'achieve true hapiness (sic)'."

    My grandma wrote me a note: "I baked you a bunt cake. It's in the refigarator (sic). I hope you like it."

    (sic) means you realize refrigerator is misspelled; you're just copying your grandma's note exactly, including her misspelling.
