Tom B is only half correct. the 10th character in a VIN no. is indeed the model year but "N" is 1992, not 1993 ( "I" was not used because it can easily be confused with a "1" ).

its a 1993
the 10'th digit on the VIN Number is the year
"A" is 1980 and so on

the serial number should also show the year just check all around the tag, if you can't find it ask the dealer you bought it from

vin numer will tell you every thing it is located on the frame up on front by the head light.
