Why can't humans fly?

I believe I can fly, I believe I can cross the sky; I think about it every night and day, spread my wings and I fly away......

Leonardo da VInci was trying to use 500 year old technology. In 1979 a human-powered machine flew more than 22 miles (mostly over the sea) from England to France, and a solar-powered human-carrying aircraft has flown more than 160 miles non-stop.

because our bodies aren't designed or functioned to fly. But on a techincality scale we can fly. Whether it's in an aeroplane, helicopter, hang-glider, micro-light etc; we just can't fly without any of these.

Actually they do now, all the time! It's reckoned that at any minute of the day there are about 300,000 people in the skies above us in aeroplanes. The greatest movement of aerial humans since any point of history!

Because we have no wings, I wish I could fly too.

We, are simply too heavy to fly, The amount of muscles we would need on our wings, IT would look ridiculous.Have a red bull, it gives you wings. lol

since bats are our ancestors from like a long long time ago i believe that we can fly. I learned that in science with genetics

Probably best we weren't given the capability to fly....Most would probably just accidentally kill themselves by flying into s**t all the time.....But I understand your desire.

Too much bone density and it would put the airlines out of business.

Try Second Life..you can fly all you like there... :-)
