get it replaced. that is most likely a hardware problem or compatibility issue and they will know that.
there is usually a message with these BSODs with words connected by underscores like_this. it will be near the top of the blue screen. if you tell us that then we might be able to help you fix it. but you might as well get it replaced because you paid good money for that computer.

The Blue Screen of Death is caused by a virus that attacks the OS. Both XP and Vista are still affected by it. So it's wrong to say that BSOD doesn't exist anymore.
You can take your PC back to the vendor. Since you just bought the PC, it is still under warranty. The vendor can check on it and find out what's wrong. They might replace your PC if they found out that there is a hardware-related failure in it (bad motherboard, for example), or at least they will replace the failing component or hardware attachment (RAM module, CPU, hard drive, video/audio/Ethernet adapters, fans, etc..). If they found out that the problem is with the software, they will simply re-format the hard drive and re-install Vista.

no what it means is that you probably need to update your nvidia driver. I had that issue for the first couple months when I owned. And before one of these people tell you that vista is causing it its not vista its a driver issue or a piece of hardware is failing. Post some specs by typing dxdiag on therun even search when you click start works too. Vista runs great Ive been through many operting systems and xp had just as many if not more problems. I had people asking me for windows 2000. if you want feel free to email me your specs and I'll see what I can find out for you also when the bsod happens again try to see if it tells you what device is failing or what the problem is and write Every thing down

It more than likely has nothing to do with a hardware problem. It is either a) flawed install or b) hardware incompatible with vista even though microsoft "promises" it will work this time.
Just reinstall the operating system or have someone else do it.

Well, you're told wrong. The BSOD is still there with vista. Your problem seems to be with a particular software. Is it?

As long s you didn't install any freaky software on it, then it's faulty. Take it back. Usually this is a hardware fault such as faulty RAM or motherboard.

no BSOD has to do with the OS not the computer. if you just baught it i would take it back though before your 30 days are up

If you are referring to the CPU dump on it, if you are running McAfee anti virus software, that could be your problem, that is what I had before I dumped it and switched to AVG after I had my computer repaired.

Try to replace your graphic card with a new one.
My friend had that problem too.
