Does Wild Turkey 101 spoil?

A co-worker just found an unplugged chest freezer in his recently deceased mom's basement FULL of unopened whiskey containers (bottles and tins like you would find at Christmas time). The most prevalent are the Wild Turkey 101 (8yr old) ceramic decanters that, according to research. dates back to 1977 & 1978. There are also some Dewars bottles that date to the early 80's and a few others I have not picked up yet.

Are these still good or will they have run the chance of spoiling?

The only thing that may have happened to them, is a bit of evaporation, if the seal is compromised in any way. It should be fine to drink. If you try it and don't like it... well, there ya go. lol

beer can spoil, wine turns into vinegar, hard booze wont spoil if the caps are tightly sealed even after the bottle has been opened

I think that they are probably spoiled by now, the only way to find out though is to open them up! :)

no, most of the time liquer has too much alchahol volume to ever go bad, in fact, the more aged it is the better it tastes, unlike beer.
