Is this a sexist attack or comedic license?
It seems that my weekly contribution to a local paper is generating some heat.

If George Bush can be protrayed as a chimpanzee in a national comic strip. If Garry Trudeau can consistently portray American soldiers as bored, stupid killing machines. If so many humorists are allowed free rein when attacking conservative figures then why should the rules change when the target is a woman?
"Portraying George Bush as a chimpanzee is simply offensive...to chimpanzees." - Ah-hah! So personal attacks based on physical appearance ARE acceptable. The chimpanzee parody has been used quite a bit in the last 8 years.
.... and next week is one for Obama.
Since the Indiana primary is rarely significant and is meaningless for McCain this year I will probably close the trilogy with a "Top Ten Things Republicans did on primary day."

Most of it isn't really sexist, but some of it does make fun of her being a woman which I would totally call comedic license. Also, if you're doing anything comedic in the realm of politics and you don't offend anyone, then you suck. So while I didn't really laugh at any of it, I can say that if someone was offended, then you were at least headed in the right direction.

Attacking or ridiculing someone for what he or she DOES is acceptable and understandable. Attacking or ridiculing someone for what he or she IS crosses the line.

It's not a sexist attack. It's just an attempt at poking fun, and trying to generate some entertainment value. Just because Hilary is a woman, doesn't make it sexist, similar to if it was about Obama it wouldn't be racist. There is no discrimination nor prejudice showing, hence it is not sexist.
People are retarded if they think otherwise.

The neurotic state of this country when it comes to political correctness is amazing. Unless, of course, the abuse is aimed at white males; then anything is acceptable.
