Try and lead a healthy life style. Exercise regularly, have a balanced diet, dont smoke and try not to drink too much alcohol. If you are having irregular periods you may not be ovulating properly. Have a chat with your doctor and get some tests done to see if you are ovulating and if not they may be able to prescribe some fertility drugs to help you ovulate good luck!!

Hi. I am working on the same thing myself. I had a miscarriage in mid January. Had my first cycle Feb. 26 and have been regular since then. I have been TTC since October including the miscarriage. I am 20 and only about 10lbs overweight. Are you sure you didn't have a miscarriage? I would use an ovulation test to find out when you are ovulating. I would also have sex once every 24 hours to increase your chances. Some people say have sex every 48 hours but I have read in research that the sperm can die off the longer they stay in him. It is best for him to ejaculate daily to keep the sperm strong (at least that's what I found in my research and I will send you some sites if I find them again). Hope my answer helps you and good luck to you!! I will be testing tomorrow or Monday morning to see if I had any luck this month!

You'll need to get your periods regulated first. When you have irregular periods, it generally means you have a hormone imbalance and/or not ovulating correctly. You need to make an appointment with your Gyn and have some blood work drawn and get some meds to get your periods regular. Get on some good multi-vitamins and eat healthy. You really should chart your cycles by using the fertility method in the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Joni Weschler. She also has a wonderful website and support group at www.ovusoft.com

Check it out and Good Luck!

Hey. Well since your period is irregular it will be harder for you to get pregnant. My periods are very irregular and my husband and I have been ttc for about a year with no luck because of it. However being overweight has nothing to do with conceiving a child- your lady parts still work the same. If you ttc for over a year with no luck you should call a gyno and get an exam to make sure your lady parts work normally, and she should be able to tell you everything you need to do to regulte yourself and to make it easier to conceive. Good Luck

Be blue! Weirdly, azure shades have been proven to get a positive effect on your will to exercise regularly and resist bad foods. So, wear glowing blue, eat from blue plates watching the pounds drop off!

Make sure you obtain at least seven hours of sleep each night. Being tired makes for skipped workouts and extra snacking.

Put a two litre water bottle and a glass on your desk every single morning. Get through it through lunch, and do the same in the afternoon. You’ll exercise better in addition to recover faster if you’re hydrated. I drink some water whenever someone asks me a foolish question or sends a foolish email... find something that works in your case!
