does money buy you happiness?

Money is the ONLY thing keeping me from being happy.

Yes, I know MANY people that are rich and miserable. Happiness is an ATTITUDE, not a result of circumstances. Ebenezer Scrooge, before the visits be the ghosts, was a NORMAL personality. Money does NOT change people. It only MAGNIFIES what was there all along.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it does insulate you against a lot of things in life that can rob you of your happiness, like homelessness, hunger, medical expenses, etc.

Money doesn't equal happiness, but it evens out the bumps. It makes you more likely to succeed at what you want to do, because you don't have to worry about your basic needs.

Money buys you a lot of things you can touch, but it is the things you cannot touch that make you happy and those money cannot buy... health, love, friendship, hope, etc.

Money may buy you little happiness in the things you can buy, but these often attract baggage with that happiness, like envy, greed, selfishness, and even loneliness. I don't like that kind of happiness.

hundreds of people. money can NOT bring you happiness. i have by far seen many more happy middle-class people then rich happy people.

Even if it doesn't buy you happiness, you'll be very comfortable in your unhappiness.
