I think they are both good picks. I know that I am usually blaming the line for the running backs not having the adequate gaps to run and that's true. But Benson was injured and they need another big guy with a little promise and Forte is 6'1", which is a little bigger than an average running back. He'll have a good stride length to carry him down the field. I love the OT Williams pick though. There probably can always be better picks somewhere, but he's giving Tait the relief he needs to move back to the right side. I really think they should focus mainly on offense this year. I mean, Olin Kreutz isn't getting younger and they just lost two linemen. So this would be a good year to get a fresh, strong line to break open some gaps for the run. Also, it wouldn't hurt the qb to actually have more than 2 seconds after the snap to make a throw. lol, I am going to say that the focus from here on out will either: be to get a third string qb, in case anything happens with grossman again (Maybe Woodson or Ainge since Brohm is gone now, I refuse to put Henne on there); focus on a decent/good wr core, since their main option now is devin hester (amazing guy, not so great at running routes); focus on building a young and strong offensive line; or work on their damn secondary. This could be a year where the Bears secondary is actually semi-decent if they get some good corners and safeties in the backfield. That is their main concern on defense though and after all, there is only 8 rounds. haha

Chris Williams-great Pick in my opinion-exactly who they should have gone for even though Mendenhall was tempting

Forte-AGHHHHH!!! WHY????? Brian Brohm would have made more of an impact-I am glad they are fixing the running game though cause the bears are a running team but if you are gonna get a HB at least get a good one! Jamaal Charles and Ray Rice were still on the board too....

    So Williams 10/10

    and Forte-6/10

    so 80% about a B

    I predict them taking a...

    3rd-A QB-Maybe Booty? or a OT

    4th- QB-or OT

5th-QB or OT (so interchanged between all of those picks-2 OTs and 1 QB)

    6th-S or WR

7th-HB QB or OT WR S- maybe denis Dixon this late at QB?

key positions and I see them taking multiple of some to get lost of competions

How can you pass on Brandon Albert, Rashard Mendenhall, and Joe Flacco?!

    Williams was an A- pick.

Even John Madden could tell how the Forte picks was.

The Forte pick was an F!

How can you pick Matt Forte (Some mediocre RB) and pass on Brian Brohm, DeSean Jackson, Malcolm Kelly and Jerome Simpson!

(I think Henne will be a Rex Grossman type player, he was erratic at Michigan.)

Source(s): C- Oh, and its the second day right now and I love the Earl Bennett pick! Great choice! That was an A pick!

Love Chris Williams, but people aren't giving Matt Forte any credit. He'll be a solid RB, and a nice complement to Benson. And an improved running game should help the QB play. They passed on QB sure, but Orton/Grossman will be a better QB for them at least this season. IDK why they passed on WR, but so did like everyone else that needed them so I wouldn't necessarily say they made a poor decision. Still some good guys left on the board.

    3rd- WR- Mario Manningham

    4th- QB/S- Josh Johnson/Da'Juan Morgan

    5th- QB/S- Eric Ainge/Craig Steltz

    6th- LB- Ali Highsmith

    7th- DT

chris williams was a good pick and it made sense. but matt forte? im not so sure about that one. with henne and brohm still on the board, i felt that chicago should have taken either of them. or at least gone for a WR like desean jackson or limas sweed because the bears have no receivers.

so tomorrow, they better get a QB and WR. maybe manningham in the 3rd and either booty or woodson or brennan in the 4th

    Chris Williams

Not the best of the OL, but he will help the Bears with their O-Line.

WTF, Matt Forte in the 2nd round???

The Bears should've taken Brian Brohm with their 2nd round round pick.

    3rd round:Josh Johnson

    3rd Round: Andre Caldwell

    4th Round: Roy Schuening

    5th Round: Andre Fluellen

    6th Round: Ben Moffitt

    7th Round: Pedro Sosa

    7th Round: Haruki Nakamura

    7th Round: Kirk Elder

    7th Round: Adam Spieker

OT Chris Williams was a good pickup. RB Matt Forte has many question marks. the first pick was great, A pick. Forte was a bad pick, could have traded down to get him, D pick.

    Overall Grade- C+
