What kind of RAM should i buy for my computer?

My computer is a HP Pavilion M7580N.

    ddr 2 533 mhz ram will work but if ur using a

    older ram with the new one then make sure

    both rams got the same speed (mhz) ...

    otherwise it will give problems ...

    make sure u know the highest amount

    of ram which

    ur hp accepts increasing the ram than that

    is a big waste of money since u wont get

    much performance if u do that ...

    todays best ram manufacturer is " kingston "

    and thats without any questions asked for sure ...

    they provide life time warrenty for there rams ...

    plus the performance is unmatched ... goodluck ...

    I know the DELL Website gives you a list of RAM chips that are compatible with your computer, so my point is check with HP website look for maybe something like upgrade. check there site, My answer.

    well you need to look on your motherboard to see if it runs pc100 or pc133. if it runs pc 133 and you put i n100 it will slow it down and if you install133 on 100 it will only run 100. that should be all you need to know besides amount of MB or GB. except that some compaqs need specific types of RAM

    Any DDR2 533 RAM will work. I will suggest corsair ram.

    get at least 1GB RAM. KINGSTON makes good memory
