I have an Uncle Mike's 3-point tactical sling. Says can be converted from carrying to shooting sling. How?

I have the sling attached to my Beretta Cx4 and adjusted for strong side patrol carry. How do you turn it into and use it as a shooting sling? I assume it has something to do with the button snap. Help please.

Update:

Does anyone know how to use a 3 point tactical sling. I have a good carry position set with it, but how do you "convert" it to a shooting sling? Also, does anyone have any preferance of what carry mode is best and why?

    I have never seen one but I assume you could tuck your elbow back and hold it tight.
