Does anyone else agree with me that Triple H is nothing special?
I’ve been a fan of wrestling for over 20 years now and for the life of me can’t understand what the fuss is over Triple H. To me he is just another ordinary wrestler. He has nothing outstanding to him that makes him one of the all time greats.
All other major players through the years (too many to list) all had a unique quality and charisma to them or their character. I just don’t see anything above average with Triple H. I don’t see him as being “The Guy” that can put wrestling on his shoulders and carry it. Both from an entertainment point and a money making point.
Does anyone agree with me or is everyone sold on Triple H?
I know people are going to say he is 12 times champion but the majority of these reigns take place in an era where the titles are very watered down and change too much. Basically the heavyweight title became a joke from 1999 – 2005 as it changed hands so many times.

nothing outstanding? isnt 11 world title reigns enough.
He's not one of my favourites, but thats impressive. Also, he is a little overrated though.

Somebody sees something special in him.
He has excellent ring psychology. he can tell a story better than most.
Whoever said he should step aside and give HBK a reign, needs to wake up....HBK's knees are in such bad shape that they dont wanna risk putting a title on him then having to figure out a way to put it on someone else quick. HBK is great however.
You may not see him as someone who could put the company on his back and carry it, but that is exactly what he did for quite some time....in the era where the titles were watered down, he had one of the longest reigns. He was the first heel to ever leave wrestlemania with the title, and that was BEFORE he was married to stephanie (well, he was in the story line)
Take a look at his match with Hogan at Backlash 2002. anyone who can make Hogan look halfway decent (after like, 1998) has to be a great worker, cuz lets face it, Hogan kinda sucks in the ring, he just got by back in the 80's cuz No one knew any better, and by the time we realized it, he was already too much of an Icon for anyone to care. I know I don't Hulkamaniac 4 Life.
Fact is, he makes money. And alot of it. Even if you don't see it. If he didn't. he wouldn't be where he is.

I also completely disagree.
Not because of what he's accomplished, but because of how damn good he is.
I've said it about a dozen times on here before, if you watch him live and up close, it's obvious that he's the best wrestler in the company, hands down. Everything he does is effortless, and he tells a story like nobody else. He always knows exactly where he is in the ring, and what he has to do. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has such fluid motions and such smooth transitions as he does. Fact.
And if you want to say he's only in his spot because of Steph, then honestly, I think you're a fool. He made it there on his own, and like it or not, he always delivers in big matches. And if Triple H wasn't the best, Vince wouldn't let him keep his spot.

No I'm afraid I don't agree with that. Triple is must be the most natural heel I have ever seen, only Jeff Jarrett comes close. The problem with HHH is that although he is a good skilled wrestler, he seems to be regarded by some as a god of wrestling. I know this is part of his gimmick but I can grate on you a bit so I see where you are coming from.

Triple H is nothing special.
WHAT!!!
Triple H is 1 of the greatest superstars 2 step into a wwe ring. the game is one of the top guys of the company. 12 time champion king of the ring winner and royal rumble winner. i can't belive you have watched wrestling 4 20 years and not notice that HHH is the top guy in the busnes. some people don't like him but come on triple h is nothing special is a over the top init. Triple H is something special and thats why hes the top guy

I disagree with you when you say that Triple H is "nothing special". He is a very charismatic wrestler with one of the best entrances in WWE and has been embroiled in some of the company's most famous stables and notorious feuds.
However, yes, I utterly dislike Triple H. He may have seemed like a dominant champion and a prime example of a heel to me around two years ago, but yeah, he is pretty overrated and has obviously overstayed his welcome.

I wholeheartedly agree with you concerning the world title-it has definitely been watered down to nearly meaningless.
However i disagree about HHH,I see him as better than most of his contemporaries and that is the difference.I agree there are many superstars of the past who had more going for them-he reminds me of Magnum TA alot.20 years ago HHH would have just been a footnote, but as I said compared to his peers of today he is a standout

basically as a results of fact it replaced into the excellent tournament of the nighttime, it does no longer mean it overshadowed the events at Wrestlemania 27. Rock and Stone chilly made it the two amazing as HHH vs Taker. you will desire to admit, on your eyes Rock and Stone chilly stood out did no longer they? EDIT: i assume some human beings at the back of the scenes in the WWE are 2 egotistic to appreciate Wrestlemania isn't approximately headline suits. Rock and Stone chilly need to be observed.

he has taken a lesser role then in the past. But he did wrestle while making a movie the other year and he do's have knee problems.....One rarely gets up from a pedigree, give the man some props. To me he is a king of hardcore Trip never loses in hardcore type matches with sledge in hand... Word

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH YOUR OPINION.
i'm not a fan of triple H. but you have to agree that his ring entrance and x-factor is one of the best.
and come on, have you seen how the fans react when triple H tours with WWE?
he and shawn michaels make one comical team (DX) too. i can't believe you're so ignorant. you probably just don't like him.
