Which would be better for fat burning?

45 mins on the stair trainer, or the ski eliptical?

    They’re pretty much all the same. Change it up for variety. It is more a matter of how much effort you put into it than which machine you use. If you really want to burn fat, strap on your running shoes and find a nice hilly trail.

    Go with the skis. Uses more body parts.

    Elliptical is worthless (does not transfer to real exercise like running).

    Stick with stairs and a treadmill.

    I'd say split your time up and do both.

    22.5 mins of each.

    or do 45 mins of one- today

    and 45 mins of the other one tomorrow

    switch it up a bit.

    so you never get bored of doing one thing

    either one's fine. if i were you i'd just do 20 to 30 minutes but i'd crank up the intensity and do intervals.
