Creative ways to give money as a Graduation gift.?
What are some cute and creative ways to give money to my husband's brother and sister. They are twins and are graduating this year. I wanted to actually get them something, but I think they will like money better. I want a good way to give it to them though. I don't want to just put it in a card and say here you go!!! Thanks in advance for all the ideas!!

Well one Christmas my grandma gave my brother like a book, and he was so like disappointed until he paged through and money started falling out! Also, my grandma sent me socks one christmas, really ugly ones and I was really upset until I looked inside... voila money! It's actually really funny for the people watching.

I like the idea of folding it into flowers and making a bouquet -however, that may not be great for the brother. Also, it depends on how much you're giving them - you don't want it to be a bouquet of $1 bills.
I've seen different novelty shops where you can buy a puzzle-type thing, where once you put the bill in, they have to solve the puzzle (like a maze) before they can get the money out. I think that would be fun!

How about a pinata, but just for them, or one for each of them, filled with money? They'll have NO clue what's in there, put some confetti in there too and when they hit it hard enough, they're money comes falling out and they have their present!
What about getting them balloons and rolling the money up and putting it in the balloons and they have to pop the balloons to get the money. You'll show up at the party with a bouqet of balloons, but when they look for their gifts, you can tell them that it's in the balloons. You can get them each a bouquet of balloons or do one big one and tell them there's a gift for each of them, like one balloon each, has their gift.
If they're going to college, get them something for their dorm room or school, like a roll of quarters for their laundry, but wrap the rolls in bigger bills.
If they're staying in a dorm, pretend you bought them a poster and take a piece of paper and lightly tape the money to the paper and roll it up like a poster or art for their dorm room. They'll think you bought them a poster and when they unroll the "poster" it will be covered in money.
You can also buy a little bonsai tree or some kind of tree and tie the money to the tree and turn it into a money tree. Or get them a lucky bamboo and wrap the money around the bamboo.
You can also get a decorative envelope or pillow box, then depending on how creative you are, dress up a paper doll, you can go to Michael's or AC Moore for kits and put the dolls on the outside of the box/envelope. In the girl doll's hand, put a little shopping bag, and in the boy's you can just put money stickers. There are TONS of stickers you can find at the craft stores. Then put the money inside the box/envelope. You can even put the money inside a jewelry box that you'd use for a bracelet, one of the long narrow boxes, this way there's room for the doll and when they open it, there's the money.
You can also put the money in a shirt box and wrap up the box and when they open the box expecting some kind of clothing, they'll find the money.
You can also do the box inside the box inside the box, where the smaller box is in the bigger box etc. So when they open one box there is another box, then there's another box, and another, until the last box has the money in it.
You can also buy them a pack of pens and instead of them being regular Bic pens, take the ink out and roll up the money VERY thinly and slide it into the barrel of the pen and put it where the ink would be. Then put it back in the pack and when they think they're just getting pens, they're actually getting money.
You could also do a treasure hunt, give them a piece of paper with a clue, that will lead them to another clue, to another, then another, then finally, that will lead them to their gifts.
This is all I can think of, I hope they help!

Miss Manners and I ask you to actually BUY a gift.
But, if you're sure they'd prefer money, and are willing to go along with that, then just put the money in the envelope; their little faces will light up with delight.

I've seen it done as a treasure hunt. You leave clues, which lead to the next clue, etc., etc., etc. The final clue leads to the treasure. If they enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean, they might really enjoy this.
If they're more sophisticated, they might not enjoy it much.

How about putting the money on a pre paid visa/mastercard. I think banks issue them.

Get them each a certain number of roses and wrap bills around the stems of the flowers.
