I agree that slaughter is wrong but it is a necesary evil. I think are standereds and the conditions of animals in these situations should change, but getting rid of slaughter houses all together is going to cause more problems. Ending slaughter completely will lead to over population, which will inturn lead to animals starving due to lack of food, dehydrating due to lack of water, and being placed in poor situations. At this point in time we have non slaughter bound animals starving and adding the extra animals banning slaughter will procure will put these animals into much worse conditions. As long as you buy the meat at the groccery store, you're promoting them and sponcering them. A lot in the U.S., almost all really, are still open. They only shut down most horse ones. If you want these to stop, start by stopping buying meat from them. Go somewhere else where animals are naturally raised and killed the most humane way possible.

Yes, I do think that slaughterhouses in general are cruel and unnecessary. They kill the animals in ways that make for much more suffering than is needed. I understand that people eat meat, but there are better ways to go about it than the sick, cruel ways that slaughterhouses do it.

Do a little research on meat houses in Asian countries, especially China. I think you'll find that America is way more humane than most countries.

It is wrong the way they kill animals. I like meat but seriously, the way they kill those animals. I mean they boil some alive just to get rid of fur.
