Spend time with Grandpa, you'll know why in a few months.

Sit closer to the front of the classroom, Mrs. Charles has great legs...

(1980) He's gonna say you hit him first. So do it.

If it feels like the wrong thing to do, don't do it.

(1983) As soon as someone named Frank hassles you, annihilate him. He doesn't know how to fight.

Stay away from sleazy Debbie.

(1984) Kick Terrance in the balls. You'll know when the time is right.

(1985) Don't bother with Wendy. At all.

(1986) Melanie is chubby now, but her dad's loaded and she will slim down.

Don't smoke a bowl on windy back roads.

If you are borrowing a car, don't get drunk before driving home.

Take the SAT test.

On any timed test, do all the easy questions first.

Use condoms, "hair trigger" boy.

(1988) If Yale hasn't accepted you, too bad. Those girls are smart and good looking.

Join the Air Force or become a corpsman. That's where the chicks are. If not...

Pass the SEALs PT test.

(1990) You will have a revelation regarding something very important. Don't screw it up.

(1992) Stay away from married women. It should be obvious from the start that they are "cheaters".

(1995) You will finally make it to college. Don't screw this up.

(1996) The car had a bad alternator. You could have worked in Silicon Valley instead of the gas station.

(1997) You screwed up.

(1998) Get your college transcripts and apply to school again. You will have the time now.

Sixty dollars worth of pot is NOT better than a 6 figure job.

(2008) Send a cheat sheet to yourself before all this happens.

writing a letter sounds like a great idea, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but I'd probably write a book. The main things I'd mention would be to get your college degree right after high school or even start on that before you graduate high school. I'd say stay close to my parents as parents would "be there" for you. I'd say get a car asap, talk with a lot of people in business or who have careers. I'd say hold off on having children till you're 30, when you're settle, had a career, made money and saved money and either have a house or enough of a downpayment to have a house. I'd say remember to come home to visit your family on the holidays. Don't be in a rush to leave home but by the same token don't stay there forever either. Remember that if you live at home to pay your parents some rent.

Dear 13 year old self,

Always remember to be thankful for the obvious things as well as the NOT so obvious things. And most importantly, live in the moment. Remember to give as much love as possible to those around you, because they may not be there tomorrow. STOP PUTTING YOUR HAIR IN A PONY TAIL FATTY. Quit drinking soda, you'll probably drop 20lbs. lol DO NOT DROP OUT OF HIGHSCHOOL; I know it will seem like there is no other way, but if you can just stick it out another year... I mean, a fricken YEAR! Jebus. What's one more year. Realize that your family will accept you NO MATTER WHAT! They are probably the only people on the face of the Earth who will. Be nicer to your sister, because then maybe she won't have as many "issues". PICK YOUR BATTLES. Learn to have an open mind and how to have a good conversation because communication is the key to all relationships. Play video games with your brother more often. He is and will always be your closest friend, no matter how corny you think that is. DO NOT TAKE DRIVERS ED!

P.S, when that guy asks you out for the first time, DO NOT jump up and down. PLEASE, prepare yourself for that moment! lol

According to the film "Deja vu" it wouldn't matter what you wrote, you wouldn't recognise the meaning anyway!

To, believe in myself, to remind me that I am pretty I am clever, I can succeed on my own. I am strong and honest and I work hard. It is possible to have it all, but you have to work for that `all`.
