When your credit card gets declined does it go against your credit?

Someone told me that every time your credit card gets declined, it goes against gainst your credit. How true is this?

Why or why not?

Yes or no answers will not suffice. Please give sources if you can.

Update:

Edit: This hardly happeneds.

I gave them a card which i knew had a little money spent on the card so i though i could pay for dinner but apprently dinner was more than what was on the card.

Update 2:

Yeah and i pay my bills on time or at least shortly after but they are NEVER calling me which is good

Update 3:

I guess on the visa i was using had like $100 Dinner was $430.00. I though everything would be paid off.

If I am making sence.

No..this is not correct.....but...the condition that led to the card being declined (being over the limit/maxed-out) will cause a drop in your credit score.....

No, but the conditions that caused the decline will often give you a poor credit rating.

well that depends if u dont pay ur premiums. If u did not pay them then yes but if u pay ur prem. every month then no u just went over ur limit

No it doesnt. It just doesnt go thru bc u don't have enough credit on it.
