Do they make bicycles for taller people?

I'm 6'7'' tall (201 cm) and when I ride my lil brother's bike, my knees hit the handle bars, or my chest.

Anything for giants? That doesn't have more than 12 speeds?

Update:

To Anomaly:

The reason I want a limit on the speed variations is simple: I won't have to find any replacement derailleurs, because they, in themselves, are rather expensive. I would opt for just three sprockets in the back, and that's it. Simpler maintenance, and cheaper in the long run. Sure, it may come in handy to have several speeds for various terrains, but it's not like I'm going to the mountains anytime soon (they are 80 miles away...) and all I have around here is flatland in the valley. The most difficult terrain to ride through here is grass, so cruising around is all I'll be doing.

Not to mention the back problems that would limit me... Lol, I appreciate your comment!

I am 6' 4" and use to have a Schwinn Continental. It was a 28" frame that they only custom make now, but the beauty was that you could also raise the seat and handlebars more so than other "makes". Unfortunately, it got stolen. Had to be a tall person to ride it though. I have a 38 inch inseam and my legs were straight to the pedal sitting on the seat while riding. I would check into a Schwinn dealer. The last time I inquired is when I found out they only do that to order now and it was approx. $1500.

For a road bike you'll probably need a 63cm frame which are available from a few manufacturers although not in all models. I'm 6'5" and ride a 61cm frame but it's a little small for me. Because teller people tend to have different body proportions than people of average height having a custom frame built if you end up loving cycling is a good choice.

Any good road bike these days will have at least 18 - 20 speeds, two front chain wheels and 9 or 10 cogs in the rear. Additionally some have 3 front chainwheels which gives you 27 or 30 speeds. Having all these gear combinations can come in handy if you are riding on variable terrain.

I'd say go custom too. You are unusually tall, so I can't imagine there are too many off the rack bikes that would fit you. Most are made for folks in the more average height range, just like clothing.

Any reason you want to limit the number of speeds?
