I am 31 yrs old, about to be 32, and had one miscarriage once when i was 19.?
I have to take progesterone to have periods, does anyone know of someone or are someone who was able to get pregnant during this situation?
I am kind of worried that i won't ever be able to have a child. My ob/gyn said it was possible. But dangerous for the fetus if i got preg., while on progesterone.... Someone put my mind at ease!!!!
No offense but i get checked regularly, i know i don't have cervix cancer, but thank you for your concern

Alot of people are on progesterone throughout pregnancy--it is the hormone that allows implantation to occur, and supports the pregnancy.
I would just follow up with your ob/gyn and see if your levels are normal (not too high); they'll probably check other hormones as well. Do you know if you're ovulating? That would be the more important question....the progesterone is not.

It is not dangerous for the fetus if you're on Progesterone. In fact many people stay on it throughout pregnancy. Maybe if you were on super-doses or something. I'd double-check that with him/her first. However, if you're on Progesterone in the first have of your cycle it can mess with your ability to ovulate, which is probably more of the issue at this stage. Anyway, I would talk to our doctor about this and your worries, and remember to write down all the possible options they say, so you can set your mind at rest.
