Political Hypocrisy at it's Height...?
So Bill Clinton gets impeached for making a moral decision and getting a BJ, but George Bush is still in office after:
- An illegal invasion of a sovereign nation
- Warrantless wiretapping against US citizens
- Breaking of the Geneva Convention in regard to PoWs
Abuse of Powers and General Failure:
- Commutation of LIbby's sentence
- Deliberate declassification of CIA intelligence for political purposes
And many, many more.
Another failure was the entire administration's general failure to handle the Katrina situation. Walmart did more to help those people than FEMA...

Yes very well put. In any decent country Bush would be in jail where he belongs.
EDIT " Clinton wasn't impeached for sex but for lying" about consensual sex with an adult woman, that question should have never been asked and was part of a politically inspired witchhunt not a legitimate judicial procedure

- That "illegal" invasion was, and still is, authorized by congress. Let the world governments take the US to task at the UN or the Hague if it wants to. 5 years into the conflict, none have.
- Wiretapping was authorized by law, also approved by congress. It is unconstitutional, the congress or the judiciary is free to challenge and overturn it whenever they want. So far, none have.
- Individuals that do not follow the Geneva convention are not protected by it.
- The Libby decision was foreseen, and unethical, but not illegal
- The president has the authority to declassify whatever they see fit. This can be abused, but I'm not sure what intelligence you are talking about.
The thing with Clinton is no one doubts that he lied, it made the case quite simple. Despite the fact that Clinton was guilty, he was not removed from office. He got a slap on the wrist.

Who cares as long as it raises cash, which finally is the article of the activity. If any person doesn't like the inspiration of pink nose day, then they can keep their cash and ignore it. Every time a celeb does anything like this, men and women say it's for their possess benefit, however when they do nothing they get criticised for being imply and egocentric. I doubt they can win! Easy actuality is, if we didn't have a designated day, then nobody would hassle. If I performed my guitar and sang for charity no person would hassle, however we need the celebs, unfortunate however real.

Neither furnish substitute, and the two are so ubiquitous that they are previous restore.

The difference is, first of all, that Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice, not for the BJ.
But more importantly, the current Democratic-controlled Congress isn't as bloodthirsty as the Republican-controlled Congress in Clinton's time was. The Republicans saw him as such a threat (because he was very moderate and won over a LOT of Republicans) that they had to eliminate him at any cost. (The real joke is that it didn't work - despite the impeachment, he remains the most popular President we've had in the past 30 years.) They wasted so much money searching for something to impeach him with and finally they had to back him into a corner to get him to do something they could go after him for.
Bush's actions in office are certainly immoral... as was Clinton's BJ. But unless we have hardcore evidence that a law has been violated (which we do not), there are no grounds for impeachment.
I applaud the Democrats for understanding what the Republicans did not. They've saved us a lot of money and shown a respect for the office that the Republicans didn't while Clinton was occupying it.

Bill Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress...
Purgery is a felony that many people actually go to prison for... He got off easy, if you ask me.
There are no PoW's... Since alQuada has no "standing army", those found on the battle field with no reason to be there are considered enemy combatants... The conventions don't cover this, and according to the Constitution, they can be held where ever and for however long the Commander in Chief sees fit... STUDY!
Commuting a sentence? What about the judge in the case ignoring sentencing guidelines and president? More legislation from the bench... a breech of the Constitution! STUDY!
Declassification happens all the time... LOL STUDY!

Bill Clinton was impeached for lying to a grand jury, not to mention, the out and out lie he told the American ppl. George Bush had congress behind him when he went into Iraq, you demo's seem to ignore that. Wiretapping against US citizens, if you have nothing to hid why does it bother you? Give President Bush a break, he will be gone soon, and everyone of you will be happy again or not?

Your rant is all lies.
Clinton impeached for perjury, not a BJ.
War was declared because of a failed treaty, and only with the approval of congress.
All wiretappings have been warranted.
Geneva convention rules apply only to military, not civilians.
Libby was no worse than Clinton, who never went to prison for his perjury.
And many many more lies that you want to continue to divide the country with.
