What do u think Jeb Bush as VP?
I know this is NOT going to happen!!! No way we want another Bush right now. But just for fun, it does sound intriguing, don't u think so?
1. Conservatives think Jeb is even more reliable than W, so his candidacy can immediately alleviate their worries about John McCain.
2. His wife is Hispanic and he is a catholic, along with McCain's stance on immigration, they can do at least as well as W did, and probably even beat the Dem. among Latino voters.
3. He's popular at FL, a battle ground state. although his failure to deliver it in '00 when he was the governor, was shocking.
Any other pros?

McCain would never have any member of the Bush family on his ticket
They can act all they want, McCain hates Bush with a passion for what he did to him in 2000

You pointed out his positives and negative (I don't think it's so much that they don't want another person with a certain name but, his father and brother were both President and if we wanted a dynasty or kingdom we could have had that from the beginning).
That being said, he is still popular in FL and a lot of conservatives like him.
I don't think that McCain will do that though. I think he is waiting to see who gets the Dem. nomination and will pick a conservative woman or a black person to counteract the other candidate.

There are no pro's, there is only more division.
Never a Bush again. The family name simply puts too many shudders up and down peoples spines to forget how much a Bush screwed America.
I have not made up my mind who I am voting for.

No, not this one anyway yes he was a very good Governor but if he has any interest he should at least wait 8 years & run after McCain's Presidency.

There are zero pros about any bush in the white house ever again. If we can learn that in 8 years we deserve to go to hell.

I think he is a crook who rigged the ballots and the votes in FL in 2000 and i thinnk you know this. I also think it is outrageous that after knowing what a cheat and liar he is that you would vote him into office. Do conservatives have no values whatsoever?
