Have you ever used an online auction site other than ebay?
If so, was it any good? How did it compare with ebay?

MarketWall is great:
MarketWall is free and you can buy and sell things in your local area.
For sellers, eBay isn't any good because eBay charges you listing fees even if your items don't sell. If your items do sell, eBay charges you even more in commissions. For buyers, eBay is getting really bad because there are so many scammers and most of the sellers are in different cities or countries.

Well, you get what you want and not be able to find elsewhere pretty cheap. On the other hand. I have bought many items that were not authentic and ended up paying more than I would have if I had buyed them in the store. Tip to the wise. Do not buy designer clothing or articles on ebay. The odds is that they are fake.

Not an auction site, but craigslist is awesome for local items, so far everybody I've dealt with on it has been great, maybe I'm a lucky one!

www.newegg.com is a real good site for electronic stuff. compare with ebay.com, newegg has a return policy. i bought some stuff from there and wasn't a good one. i returned it. it takes like 2/3 week to send you another one but they actually send u a good one. good luck!
